Seeking adolescents with ARFID symptoms and their caretakers for research study
The ACT Research Group at Utah State University is seeking adolescents with mild to severe symptoms of selective eating and/or Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Adolescents and their caretaker will both complete 4 questionnaires over the course of 1 week. The purpose of this study is to better understand psychological and nutritional variables associated with selective eating and/or ARFID.
To be eligible your child must be 12-17 years old, have at least some selective eating and/or ARFID symptoms, and you both must be fluent in English. Participating will take up to 4 hours over 1 week for you and your adolescent. Your adolescent can receive a $10 Amazon gift card for completing all surveys.
