Identifying Treatment Barriers and Primary Sources of Information for Individuals with Trichotillomania

The USU ACT Research Group is recruiting participants for a study examining participants’ experience seeking or not seeking treatment for their current or past trichotillomania. If you are interested, please complete our eligibility questionnaire at the link above to see if you are eligible.
 
To be eligible, you must:
  • Have/had suspected trichotillomania, but do not need an official diagnosis
  • Be over 18 years old
  • Currently be living in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English
  • Be able to access the internet via computer, mobile phone, or tablet
 
If you are eligible for the study, you will receive a phone call to confirm your participation and to schedule a one-on-one video call with one of our research assistants. During the video call, you will take a guided survey with the research assistant, which should take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
 
Please know that participation is voluntary, and you can withdraw at any time without penalty. You will receive a $20 Amazon e-gift card for completing the study.
