Measures We Developed
Acceptance and Action Questionnaire – Trichotillomania (AAQ-TTM): This version of the AAQ (named AAQ-TTM) asses psychological flexibility around urges to hair pull. It is worth noting that there is an older version of this measure that was in the Woods and Twohig (2008) book that has other wording. This is the cleaned-up version that was validated in Houghton et al. (2014).

The Acceptance and Action Questionnaire for University Students (AAQ-US): This is a 12-item measure of psychological inflexibility for university students, with an emphasis on academic contexts.

Acceptance and Action Questionnaire—Managing Child Hearing Loss (AAQ-MCHL): This is an 8-item measure that is designed to assess psychological inflexibility in the context of parenting a child with hearing loss.

Parental Acceptance Questionnaire (6-PAQ): This is an 18-item measure assessing psychological flexibility among parents.

The Acceptance and Action Questionnaire for Hoarding (AAQH): This is a 14-item measure of hoarding-related psychological inflexibility, which includes subscales for inflexibility related to saving and to acquiring.

The Acceptance and Action Questionnaire - Stigma (AAQ-S): This is a 21-item measure of psychological flexibility and inflexibility with stigmatizing thoughts.

The Tacting of Function Scale (TOF): This 10-item measure assesses the psychological process of tacting the function of one's behavior, more specifically in terms of being able to label when one's behavior is in the service of moving towards what is important (valued action) or moving away from unwanted thoughts and feelings (experiential avoidance).

ACT Treatment Adherence: This is a coding template used for evaluating consistency of therapist statements with ACT principles and processes. Instructions for coding are included in the spreadsheet.

AEBT Treatment Adherence: This is an extension of the ACT Treatment Adherence coding template. It includes columns for habit reversal training components and can be used to score treatment adherence for AEBT sessions. Definitions of each therapy process and the coding template with instructions are available for download.

The Emotional Judgment Implicit Relational Assessment Procedure (EJ-IRAP): This is an implicit measure of good/bad judgments of emotions delivered through the IRAP.

Mixed Trial-Implicit Relational Assessment Procedure (MT-IRAP): This is a modified version of the IRAP designed to address various potential methodological limitations with this method, particularly those relevant to assessing individual stimulus and participant effects.
